But....! There are "technical" points from where the player can shoot without taking damage 😉

Some parts of the game is "rush" but i also want to add a little tactics here and there

I seriously have to search for how to delete an Instagram acc for my gf since I cannot find it in the app or web interface :amaze:

A perfect example of a shitty platform is when you need to search on how to delete your account


@stux It’s a bit hidden. I definitely had to look it up as well. But the info is pretty easy to find, thankfully. The key thing is it’s in some new-ish account manager thing that I forget what they call it.

@stux if a platform is as great as they say, the cancel/delete button could be front and center without anyone clicking it.
The fact that they need to hide it, is an admission that their platform sucks and the only way to prevent people leaving is to not give them the opportunity to do so.

Make sure the account deletion also removes all the data. Sometimes those are separate requests. Or, delete everything posted to make sure.

@stux IMHO as an avid gamer maybe the frog is too fast or player character animations too slow for some actions? You or whoever plays the game has no time to properly react/shoot?

Hi all. Given the recent announcement from Meta about AI personas and allowed behavior, I am moving threads.net back to a limit, and will likely move them to a block in the future on infosec.exchange. I can’t ignore the reality that the changes they’re making are specifically intended to permit attacks on many of the people that call this place home. I won’t rule out that they walk the changes back, which is why I’m not jumping to sever the nearly 4000 mutual follow relationships between people on threads and here.

Have you had that "Upcoming price change for your Microsoft 365 subscription" email yet? They want to charge you an extra 50%ish for AI features, and they do *not* make it easy to find the way to turn it off. It took me minutes of searching - this is a particularly evil dark pattern.

"Switch plan" just lets you pick between annual and monthly billing. You want "Turn off recurring billing" and then "Current subscription without AI".

When I was younger and we first got a PC at home, the first "creative" thing I did was designing Habbo Hotel badges for my own private hotel in MS Paint. Pixel by pixel!

Creating this 2D Pixel Game in UE kinda brings me back a little :blobcatgiggle:


@stux I played SimCity 2000, Streets of SimCity, and SimCopter on Windows 95. You used to be able to build a map in SCURK (SimCity Urban Renewal Kit), play it in SimCity, drive around it in Streets of SimCity and fly around in it in SimCopter.

I miss having that level of interoperability between games
