Unreal Engine always creates monsters of projects

This relative simple pixel 2D game only uses sprites and tilemaps but the project map still is over 21GB :blobcatgiggle:

Altough I do still have some levels in prep

@stux I noticed the other day a simple tactical Alien game was 85GB. WTAF!


@sortius UE comes with a load of bloat :bloblaugh:

On mobile this is esp an issue

@stux That is why sometimes the engine gets in the way. For your use case of building a pixel 2d game with sprites and tilemaps you might want to consider game maker, gdevelop or solar2d.


@JoeBecomeTheSun Yeah but I didn’t wanted to learn another engine so I stuck with UE :blobcatgiggle:
