In response to this post@ai6yr Yeah, that's them. It looks to me like the SM one has been considerably reduced.
@lauren They were having significant issue with both aircraft traffic and tanker traffic earlier. However, today they did not use tankers, because they were no longer necessary -- so it looks like they adjusted those parameters for just helicopter safety. Just hitting hotspots. I'm over the helibase location and traffic basically dropped to zero on this side of the fire as they ran out of places they were needed.

If I'm reading everything correctly, it appears that the FAA has reduced the fire related no-fly TFRs over L.A. down to one over the Santa Monica/Palisades area covering the mountains up to the southern edge of The Valley, and another one over Altadena.

In response to this post@stux @vxo I'll note that it is possible to hang a Fire TV (at least some of them) by manipulating the audio level/mute setting too quickly via Android Development Mode and adb, but of course most users don't play with that stuff. And there's a watchdog timer that brings the set back to normal from a hang after a reasonable interval. It's interesting to watch the syslog on these things -- lots of goodies in there.

@lauren @stux yeah I can confirm, neither of my Fire TVs nor any of the various sticks do it. That's not to say it couldn't be something sinister that's being A/B tested though---
