Off topic, but the tower you see in that image is the abandoned AT&T Microwave Tower on Topanga Ridge. Looks like they have set up equipment around the base, probably for the fire.

New perimeter from FIRIS

Fire is now 21,317 acres as of 2025-01-10 22:20 PST.


FIRIS is the California program where there is a dedicated ISR (Infared Sensor) plane, which is available to frequently image fires. This allows fire departments to better track exactly where a fire is, and also helps them identify hotspots and areas of concern. FIRIS is only available in California.
