@RestlessLipSyndrome @ai6yr *I think* he means turns the temperature down (colder) on your fridge so it kicks on more frequently, but chances are this is something you’d have to do when one get a PSPS alert.

In response to this post@j @RestlessLipSyndrome I have a 1000W "solar generator" (really just a big battery, LOL) which I was using to cool off the fridge every 12 hours or so... apparently that is not enough to keep leftover meat from going bad. (fine for the freezer and non-meat items... but hooooo booooy on that meat).
@ai6yr @j Ah! Good to know. We may have to purchase something like that for our cottage. I think the stuff in the fridge is likely not salvageable with us not having power for at least 6 hours or more.
