@stux Governments don't need to ban to hurt the Fediverse. 😑 This new OSA law in the UK is quite problematic. I think I've seen an announcement of a Mastodon instance stopping because of that law. Here a web-link at Lobsters (hobby project, invite only Reddit alternative) https://lobste.rs/s/ukosa1/uk_users_lobsters_needs_your_help_with Lobsters and HaikuOS forum want to geo-block UK for the moment because they see no other option regarding this UK law.
What a feeling. Going back in time! Today I replied to a 5 year old post which got boosted. Got a warning about it maybe no longer being relevant 😉 The irony.
