Geoff, your friend may know about this but LAUSD has mental health support for students & families, and for employees.

Also meal distribution on Jan 9 from 8-11a.m. at 8 sites (2 per region)

@gmillikan @ai6yr Hey Geoff, glad your friend is okay. I know I’m a little late here, and this isn’t as urgent as the other things I’ve seen mentioned, but when my ex husbands apartment burned, he was able to take a pretty hefty tax deduction (I believe he wasn’t insured at the time).

@ai6yr @gmillikan insurance.ca.gov/01-consumers/ heard Commisioner Lara on the radio today- if claims adjuster is from out of state be mindful of your rights in CA, don't accept a % of payout without knowing what % your policy entitles you to. Might be worthwhile to call the hotline or chat with the pros on that link, they should be able to walk you through next steps.
