Conclusion: People in my area won't even wear masks through toxic wildfire smoke and overtaxed emergency rooms 😢 (Went with the family to Costco, and it was exactly me and two older women and one 90 year old man only doing N95, and a smattering of procedure masks).

In response to this post@ai6yr Wow. I just went to Central Market this morning & was pleasantly surprised at the number of people I saw masking - even without toxic air. If I opt to go to the Asian market, it's about 99% masked & they all glare at the 1 or 2 people not masked.

It's because they need to be this Knowledgeably risk-adverse in order to have lived that long.
