In response to this post@ai6yr i did a self-drive from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth and it was really lovely.
South African drivers are also so courteous and good! they will literally pull off to the shoulder so speedier traffic can pass, then the speedier passer will flash hazards to say 'thanks'
i thought it was a beautiful place
