A poem for the occasion.
Flying from Down Under, to a safari I do go
Because rocket parts keep falling, to where they do not know
They stop us from taking off today, because of a billionaire
Losing rocket parts from space, falling really who knows where
Alas I don't think this will get better, the oligarchs are now on top
And they do anything they want, nothing we can stop.

(the only problem here with this poem is those safaris are DARN expensive... so they are populated with hundred millionaires and billionaires. π€ But what else do people do in South Africa?)
ps. Anyone have $700K they wanna give me so I can afford to take the family on a luxury safari? (just kidding)

@ai6yr i did a self-drive from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth and it was really lovely.
South African drivers are also so courteous and good! they will literally pull off to the shoulder so speedier traffic can pass, then the speedier passer will flash hazards to say 'thanks'
i thought it was a beautiful place

@ai6yr Most South Africans never go on a safari. We went to Kruger National Park when I was little. My Cape Town Greatest Hits tour is Table Mountain cableway (hike one way?), Robben Island (penguins & prison), District 6 Museum, geology tour along Atlantic Coast (hot & cold contacts, folds and faults), Cape Point Reserve, Boulders Beach (swim with penguins), Simon's Town, Constantia wine tour, Kirstenbosch, township tour. Then winelands (4 separate tours!), Hermanus whale watching...
