How much community work, how many projects, how much art, are we being starved of because other people don't have access to what I have?

How much kindness is living under this hierarchical, capitalist, cruelty-forward fascist system sapping from us? Who gets left behind, when we don't have the resources to take care of ourselves, let alone others?

@nora I've been feeling this lately. There are a lot of barriers to me taking a more active role in my community that are related to health, specifically aspects of it that capitalism inflicts upon me. I really want to do more direct action, but my ability to focus is used up by my job (and I can barely handle that).

I've never been able to do a project like this before. Because in order to get treatment I had to self diagnose, wait a year to get an appointment with the only place my insurance would cover, get told a bunch of shit about how I was just depressed, pay for a place to do actual testing, and then take the diagnosis to my psychiatrist.

@nora
Sometimes I'm just terrified of this thought. Like, not only in the here & now, but how many lost wonders and inspiring works never could be because of the terrible things we do to each other.

117 billion lives and we'll only ever see a fragment of a scrap of a fraction of what could of been shared.
