I only got the diagnosis because I paid out of pocket for private access to a doctor to get it. It was recent. And I was drowning in my inability to keep up with the demands of life without medication.

How much kindness is living under this hierarchical, capitalist, cruelty-forward fascist system sapping from us? Who gets left behind, when we don't have the resources to take care of ourselves, let alone others?

Sometimes I'm just terrified of this thought. Like, not only in the here & now, but how many lost wonders and inspiring works never could be because of the terrible things we do to each other.
117 billion lives and we'll only ever see a fragment of a scrap of a fraction of what could of been shared.
