In response to this post@silvermoon82 i recommend starting with either the telling or rocannon's world. the former if you want to just read a good book, the latter if you are interested in science fiction genre history.
@silvermoon82 the books can be read in basically any order and aren't an actual formal "cycle" they're just called that
