Eaethsea is my current gateway drug; so when I go looking for more I'll want "Hainish"?
@silvermoon82 i recommend starting with either the telling or rocannon's world. the former if you want to just read a good book, the latter if you are interested in science fiction genre history.

In response to this post@nora for me this brings to mind some half-remembered tidbit about how people from Hain tend to be hairier than Annaresti or Terrans: somebody - maybe in The Dispossessed - thought of Hainish people as kind of furry.
