Routing in Google Maps? Yes please.
A chess program with a chess AI? Would be better, yes.
Automatic real-time transcription for videos without subtitles? Makes sense.
A function that rewrites my emails to be more wordy? Meh, maybe not.
Semantic search of automatic desktop screenshots? I don't even understand the product.

AI is pretty much synonymous with Gen ai / llm at this point.
The good kind is still called machine learning, afaik.
@joriki@infosec.exchange @april@macaw.social Yeah, I'm not sure. LLMs are Machine Learning models after all. And stuff like the VLC AI real-time transcription thing gets a lot of push back although it's not Gen AI.
