Which IBM, the one on Cottle, or Bailey or the one up the hill next to Santa Teresa Park? Cottle has long since gone, there are huge housing and industrial developments on what were the orchards.
I bought my house in 1992 from someone who worked at the one up the hill.
@godzero @mjausson @TonyYarusso Cottle Road, though I worked in a building closer to the freeway (don't know if it still exists.. it immediately next door to a tomato soup plant, LOL... even the inside of the building smelled like tomato soup, and the street was littered with tomatoes that had fallen off trucks). I used to bicycle (on the same road bike I have now) every night up to IBM Almaden.
