Small Jackery portable power station. Good for charging up phones and other small USB stuff. Also can do limited A/C (light, laptop). Almost free through SCE rebates if you live in high fire risk areas. Part of their plan to keep regulators off their back for shutting off people's power for days on end, LOL. #DisasterPreparedness #power #PSPS #Jackery

Schumacher jump box. Primarily for jumping your car/truck, but it has A/C inverter, USB, and 12V car power jacks. #DisasterPreparedness #power
@ai6yr Would you believe I have one of these?

@ai6yr I used a similar one of these to run a TV for a while (could still pull in KCBS, KNBC, KCAL, and KTTV even without my preamp). It reported it would get 2.5 hours of run time through the AC (though I didn’t run it that long to confirm). I’ll have to see if I can find a way to power directly over DC next time, but it’s a Sony with a non-barrel jack conector (and my other TV doesn’t have an external power brick).
