My partner, as some may know, is a hospital #clown in the Hearts & Noses troupe in Boston. These amazing folks bring a little relief, a lot of humor, and some normalcy to both patients and their caregivers at a time when nothing seems normal or under control. They work with kids, of course, but also with adolescents and the elderly - at no cost the hospitals or patients. This requires training, supplies, and travel. Since we're in the midst of influx #3 and I've moved somewhat recently from another instance, seems like a good time for a re- #introduction!
At this point, I'm not exactly a native here, but I'm more like the foundling who's lived here a while and begun to understand the culture a bit.
Professionally, I've been in #data, #dataviz, #privacy, and #dataethics for a long time, and outside of that, I putter. Mostly in tech, old houses, words, and food.
I'm a fan of the Oxford comma.
