@icedquinn so the irony of atlas shrugged isn't in the book itself. it's in that the book openly detested politicians as worthless parasites yet maybe 50+% of Republican congressmen like to list it as one of the most important books they ever read.by lainy ;

I was taking a typewriting class when I was in primary school and the teacher let people bring in music while typing and someone brought in a beastie boys tape and it was so alien and offensive to our 1980s midwestern ears that everyone wanted it turned off.

I’m willing to suit up for lots of cash to work a hose. My certs are out of date and probably invalid in CA but if someone has a spare fire truck and equipment and a private jet to get me there I’m willing to take the week off
Tbh the equipment is the bottleneck. Firefighting itself is pretty straightforward if you are doing exterior protection rather than interior firefighting
