@timonsku you can also just say "ok I don't care" during the installation and it'll warn you that your hardware is not supported (i.e. you will not be able to get support from Microsoft for things being broken, but... like... when do you ever get useful support from Microsoft as a home end-user?) but still install just fine.

@soatok @jxf oh, it's only 20-bit. that ruins my plan to vote for Graham's Number.

@david_chisnall @timb_machine oh, I think we might be getting wires crossed here - I was reading DV as Developed Vetting (security clearance)

@tnt the person to ask there would be @azonenberg
I can't remember what the necessary specs are for AC couplers on PCIe (beyond a small package to ensure low inductance and minimal insertion loss)
EDIT: Darrell's answer should cover you here :)

EE of fedi : What should I pay attention to when selecting caps for AC coupling of PCIe lanes ?
Not talking about the value, but the other specs. So far I'm going for 0201 10V X5R ( GRM033R61A224KE90D for instance )
Any other spec I should watch out for ?

@GossiTheDog those are great, I've got a whole retail box of them. hot but tons of flavour. the black ones are ruinously spicy though.

@hackbroetchen @NanoRaptor it's a world of difference for me. I suddenly became aware of how many unconscious coping mechanisms I'd built up and just didn't need any more, which were half the reason I was so tired all the time. I can break hyperfocus most of the time. I have some degree of executive control. I'm even less forgetful.
