Yes, these kinds of disasters are very dirty. Breathing fire residue: very bad.
(C-R boxes and masks are your friend.)

Floods are also very dirty. For example, we had a big flood locally in 2013 -- a "thousand year" event, which is likely to be a once a decade event now.
And it blew out all the local septic systems. So, not just flood water, but lots of partially processed human waste...


@colo_lee @c_merriweather Yeah, when I see people swimming in hurricane waters I think of the nasty infections they likely will get... NOT good stuff.

@stux @Gargron Much as I didn't want to see Threads preemptively blocked and as I enjoy following a handful of federated Threads accounts, I have no problem with blocking the domain following this latest.
