#introduction

I'm CLP, one of the admins of mathstodon.xyz.

I'm a mathematician of sorts, working in a university #maths department, spending most of my time making the mathematical e-assessment system @numbas.

Outside work I'm always making little things online, which I collect on my homepage at https://somethingorotherwhatever.com/

I have a bot, @esoterica, which posts entries from my collection of interesting and unusual maths references once a day.

I'm one of the editors of @aperiodical, a maths news/magazine blog. You can follow @mathnews for breaking maths news.

I'm involved with @MathsJam and the @TMiP conference, which I'm hosting in #Newcastle this summer.

I'm disabled in a few ways: I'm #ActuallyAutistic, dyspraxic, I have hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome #hEDS, and protanopia colour vision deficiency. I'm interested in #accessibility, particularly digital accessibility things that come up at work.

I live in #WhitleyBay in the North-East of England.

I ride my bike a lot, really as a mobility aid.

I've had a good idea: a chalk drawing of a mastodon, surrounded by mathsy stuff. I've had a go at that on my little tablet, and cropped it down to each of the required sizes.
I'm happy with the general idea, but if anyone can execute it better I'll gladly take submissions.

mathstodon.xyz people: before submitting this instance to the list on joinmastodon.org, we need some images:
Thumbnail (1200×630px)
Mascot (at least 293×205px)
Hero image (at least 600×100px)

Does anyone fancy having a go at making these? If not, you're getting my ham-fisted vector illustration
