In response to this post@ai6yr @BakerRL75 @amyedge @czarbucks @firefly @AE4WX I read Cadillac Desert: The American West and Its Disappearing Water probably 20 years ago and had a feeling things would get bad out west. That was when I thought climate change wouldn't hit hard for another 50 years, but parts of that book were kind of prophetic and not in a good way.

She said a friend of hers is out of town and watched a fire come up on her house through her ring camera until the video stopped and the house burned. It's like a hurricane there with fire instead of water. It looks absolutely terrifying.

This has probably been around for a while, but I just saw it at Publix toda and got some, Bob's Red Mill egg replacer that cost $4.60 and is the equivalent of 34 eggs. It's made from potato starch, tapioca flour, baking soda, and psyllium husks. This is for baking and I'm going to try it soon. Way cheaper than eggs! #Eggs #EggReplacer

@BakerRL75 @czarbucks @firefly @AE4WX @amyedge @ai6yr I've been busy this morning, at the office today. Coworkers said that grocery stores were cleaned out yesterday, I guess because the S word was in the forecast, but only 30% chance. I decided I'd better go get cat food, I cant do without that. The store close to the office had zero produce and the meat and milk were almost gone. Eggs were gone but probably because of bird flu. Snow is in the forecast for real on Friday, I kinda want to go to Costco to get some nonessential items but I'm afraid to now it's probably mobbed 😝 We do not deal with winter very well here!!
