Participating in the is like a marathon.

This year, I'm going to enjoy the creative cartography and will boost and toot (with ALT) this month supporting others. Happy mapping all!

theme is Outdoors (Map of mountains, trails, etc.). I wanted to try draping a geologic map over a DEM and chose one of my favorite places Pitkin County, CO with the Maroon Bells area. Blue color: Maroon formation; Red: granodiorite; Yellow: surficial deposits.

Tools: ArcPro Local Scene
Data: National Geologic Map Database ngmdb.usgs.gov/ngmdb/ngmdb_hom
