In response to this post@ai6yr @Natanox Germany never loses power compared to North America. I think the main reason is that all power lines are underground whereas here they are mostly above ground. Especially rural.

In response to this post@ai6yr That sounds like a great product. How does it know whether it’s switched off or a power outage though? Or is it an always on light bulb?
@Bowreality It's quite remarkable, actually... it detects whether or not the circuit is powered (or the switch is on/off). We are guessing it has some kind of capacitance circuit involved. It's ingenious, whatever it is!
