A close friend of mine is allowing me to share this on condition of anonymity. They conducted an #experiment trying different combinations of #skittles #candy.
The results are available in this google spreadsheet in case anyone wishes to reproduce the experiment. We need more hard #science like this.

We're expecting close to 4 inches of snow in the next 72 hours and it could very well stick.
Testing my generator out today and we have other heating options.
I'm really worried about rolling blackouts or worse because #ercot cannot be trusted.

Reminder to folks in the US, when you use the "name given to a winter storm" you are legitimizing a scheme concocted by The Weather Channel to gain clout. Their naming of winter storms have not been endorsed by the American Meteorological Society, and the National Weather Service refuses to use the names as well, even going so far as directing their field offices to avoid using the weather channel names.

In response to this post@mattblaze I love this kind of thing. There's so much in the underlying infrastructure of the world that people take for granted, not because they don't want to but because they don't have a need to consider in order to live their lives.
But for those of us who do feel compelled to know more about how the world works, this stuff is so fascinating.
