Reminder to folks in the US, when you use the "name given to a winter storm" you are legitimizing a scheme concocted by The Weather Channel to gain clout. Their naming of winter storms have not been endorsed by the American Meteorological Society, and the National Weather Service refuses to use the names as well, even going so far as directing their field offices to avoid using the weather channel names.
