Mottle the Purple Frog

I submitted it to a writing contest. I did not win or even get an honorable mention. Of all the things I've written, this is the one that my wife likes the best.

It seemed like a good time to post it since there is a culture war against our right to exist.
I can imagine a world where being different is celebrated.
