I am a #queer #trans person who recently had to #fundraise to be able immigrate within the US for my safety. Much of the donations and #MutualAid came from the Fediverse. #Crowdfunding on the internet can be challenging, so I want to share what I have learned in order to help other #LGBTQIA+ folks successfully fundraise, and to educate allies in what they can do to help. 🧵
