It is 2035. The first Australian ballistic missile submarine puts to sea. It carries a Letter of Last Resort from the Prime Minister with instructions, if there is confusion, to surface and tune into #ColesRadio, to confirm that nuclear war has not happened and that there are still low low prices every day

In response to this postOk I have thoroughly annoyed myself now because I can’t work out, if Australia *did* have nuclear missile submarines and there were Letters of Last Resort, who would write them? The PM or the Governor General?
@liamvhogan Based of precedence (the opening of the 2000 Sydney Olympics) I'm going with the Governor-General.
