In response to this posti know folks in foss that are actually doing the work of making their stuff accessible to people who aren't technical but what i am interested in is looking at machines like kilns, bicycles and sewing machines and actually learning from them, not asking everyone to become technically competent enough to build a computer
i think we should encourage people to get to "able to upgrade the ram in a desktop machine with youtube" and past that i think it's kind of too much to reasonably ask

@nora is it computers (the physical machine), computers (the operating system), or computers (the applications on said operating system) that you're talking about making simpler? All three is fair, but I think teasing them apart is a useful exercise.
