Heard my "Plan D" power outage equipment worked well. (3500kWH gasoline generator which can wake the dead and attract zombies). Going to trade it to the friend for some electronics project doodads he was selling at a garage sale a few months ago, I think. (always better to do a win/win barter than money with friends, IMHO).
I had been thinking of selling it for the last two months due to the high noise level... I prefer not to attract zombies.

Plan A: solar off the roof and a SMA "Secure Power Supply" power outlet that can supply up to 2kW AC.
Plan B: Solar powered shed with batteries and an inverter.
Plan C: Natural gas/trifuel generator. Currently set for propane, but in a non-earthquake emergency could be connected to the BBQ natural gas outlet and run forever (with pause to let it rest, change oil, etc.) Change your oil every 100 hours, folks.
@ai6yr every 100 hours, eh? Wow, that's a lot of oil changes in a long-duration outage. #TMYK
