Women make up 17 - 18% of all active duty personnel and 34% of health care officers (MD, RN).
It will be even less safe for women to serve in non combat positions and they will self select to return to civilian life earlier in their tenure.

The idiots have changed abortion laws so that some can not practice medicine properly in certain states. Mass movements of medical personnel have not yet occurred.

You cannot simply quit your job while on active duty so mass exodus is impossible. Attrition will happen in the Active Duty ranks in greater numbers - they will not “re-up”. Recruitment/backfill of RNs will be even worse than it is now. The only incentive to stay will be for those who are a couple years from 20.
