@ai6yr Not saying bird flu is good, am saying be suss when they start using actual numbers that sound big instead of percentages that sound big.

There's over 300 million egg-laying hens in the USA. 20 million is about 6.5% of them. But you can bet you're going to see a much bigger than 10% increase in the price of eggs, which is more than what is justified.

Oh, and we already bailed out the chicken farmers with taxpayer money, that's how we convinced them to cull 20 million chickens.

@ai6yr To the idiots who voted orange because of the egg prices, they are going to find out that the government can't just wave a wand to make them cheap and the rapist-in-chief is going to learn that he can't wave a wand to lower the price.
