that is so cool!
when i was in the service on midnight shift, we did all sorts of "things to do in someone else's microwave" but i never knew this one.
things we did do:
- microwave a CD
- microwave a wooden pencil
- microwave a york peppermint patty
- grape races

so, you take some kind of vegetable oil or grease, totally grease the base of the microwave (hence why you do it in someone *else's* microwave).
you take two grapes and each contestant puts one hole/peircing into one end of their grape.
you put the grapes side by side, holes both pointing the same direction at one end of the microwave.
turn on the microwave.
as the insides heat, the grapes build up steam and eventually jet across the microwave. whoever's grape gets to the far side first wins.
