One week since funeral. We have no #Covid symptoms. It was very small & graveside service but afterwards we did go inside to talk with people. Most ate, we did not.

One woman tried to get my daughter to pull her mask down so she could see what she looks like (to recognize her on the street or whatever). Daughter eye smiled & pointed at her multicolored hair & said look for the hair. 🤣👏 (Never mind she has a 175 lb Great Dane service dog with her at all times 🙄 People!

Widow now has sore throat. Tested neg(-) for #Covid 2x. She had siblings come stay the week to help out. One of them also has sore throat and also neg(-) 2x. Other sibling had or had just gotten over Covid when they came to stay.

@justyourluck It's so bad out there, if you've seen posts about how slammed the emergency room here is right now. It's not just COVID -- apparently everyone has EVERYTHING. (my son is a paramedic, they had him working earlier this week at the ER to manage the sheer volume of patients... he said he hasn't seen it that bad since the beginning of COVID). I was letting down my N95 but NO WAY at this point in time.
