apparently there's a whole series of magazines published for the US safecracking industry but like... ugh, I don't want to go find an archive of that and dig through endless marketing and industry news just to find a few small nuggests of interesting information.

oh, I forgot I have a copy of Locks, Safes, and Security. this does have some useful info in it, but it's pretty outdated.


I found a couple copies of some National Safemans Org issues and it's pretty much what I expected - each issue is essentially just one long article by the lead author of the magazine on some specific thing he ran into recently (usually a new electronic lock on a regular safe) plus some general industry news, info about upcoming events, and occasionally some short nontechnical guest pieces, plus some ads. Not bad for folks in the safe opening industry but not that interesting to me.
