In response to this post@armerpunkt Correct, this is why I left. The way I ran the Mountain Fire is against the way Watch Duty is running right now (consensus/committee posting, approved by a "Staff Reporter"). I attempted to try to bring that reporting speed to the wildfires here in Los Angeles the last few days and was told in no uncertain terms I was not to do that (despite all the kudos received for how I ran Mountain, and also how Michael and I ran Franklin). It was clear to me at that point I had to leave. I was asked to stand down on Kenneth for arguing for faster updates, which was the last straw for my leaving. That said, they do mean well, and I recommend them still.
@armerpunkt I was pushed off on fires after Mountain, even though (as you know) I am perfectly capable of posting an accurate and fast stream of information of important information. They disapprove of that kind of posting and it was an immense fight every single fire and every single radio transmission. I did not have it in me. I do not get along well in that kind of a situation.
