Air quality specifically in the area - Altadena, La Canada Flintridge, and Pasadena is 200+ (!!). Note all the PurpleAir sensors which either were destroyed in the fire or where Internet/power does not exist. (satellite images and on-the-ground photos indicate firestorm incinerated those neighborhoods 🙏 ).

Interesting.
I proposed an particulate air quality monitoring network to the City of Long Beach and Los Angeles County some years ago, it was based on a Dylos unit and LoRa radio sending MQTT packets. Solar powered, no internet needed.

@ai6yr Fortunately, where I live in Pasadena seems to be below AQI 200, although there is a huge variation in readings from PurpleAir sensors. I wonder if some are actually inside buildings.
