In response to this post@__josh Yep, those are crews backburning... I have not been listening to the stream, but they do that normally. You can see the guy on the left with a "drip torch". They light fires in areas to eat up the fuel ahead of the main fire and starve it of places to go.
@ai6yr Got it. I’ve heard of back burning on woodland fires, but I’ve never seen it in an urban setting before. TIL.
