In response to this post@ai6yr My plan would be to live out of the camper van. Propane fridge will run for ever on a full tank of gas and uses less than an amp. The solenoid keeping the valve open uses more electricity.
My family does not appreciate my suggestion to go to sleep if they think it's too dark. Lol.

@ai6yr In this case I'd also believe extraordinary demand. The system is sized for some hydrants to be on for three hours. Not for all of them to be on for 20+.

@swart @ai6yr in an emergency (or if you need to get the days hike started early) a pinch of grounds shoved between the lower lip and gums will do you.
