In response to this postApotris does have link multiplayer with garbage lines and everything, which i'd love to play, but i'd pretty much need a second GBA and a link cable. the odds of me running into someone in the wild who just happens to have a hacked gba and this one random (though, admittedly, polished and popular) homebrew game seem pretty slim
then again, "holly ends up with a second GBA and a link cable" doesn't seem that unlikely the way things are going

In response to this postwhere DAS is "Auto Repeat Delay", a term that means the same thing but was made up for Apotris i guess

feels very similar to my handling settings on tetr.io. i wish i could set DAS a little faster, like just a couple of frames, but it's totally fine, whatever
weird that it's not a frame input at all though, you just get these vague options
i do not know what Initial System means

In response to this posti don't remember what my best 40L sprint time was but i do remember that it was set in fucking Puyo Puyo Tetris lmao
like even if i never improved as a player after that, you'd expect me to have beaten that time by playing worse on an engine with less line clear delay

In response to this posti personally can't really get into games that you just play until you die, never been a big fan of them. i want to overcome a challenge, not fight back an inevitable failure for as long as i care to. not that that's bad, just not for me
this may sound like it conflicts with my previously-expressed love of tetris but: i play a lot of versus tetris, where your goal is to specifically fight back another player and win
so apotris is pretty much exclusively going to be a practice tool as opposed to a game lmao. maybe i'll find myself grinding DT cannons on the bus or something. or MAYBE i'll get back into 40L sprint. no promises
