Apotris does have link multiplayer with garbage lines and everything, which i'd love to play, but i'd pretty much need a second GBA and a link cable. the odds of me running into someone in the wild who just happens to have a hacked gba and this one random (though, admittedly, polished and popular) homebrew game seem pretty slim

then again, "holly ends up with a second GBA and a link cable" doesn't seem that unlikely the way things are going


"holly becomes an enthusiast for an aging handheld console, not because of any intrinsic appreciation or nostalgia for it, but because of the way it helped her form a relationship with the girl who lives in her head" and other things that i would never have seen coming even one month ago
