1 Jan. Where are you on your writing journey? What have you accomplished and what are your plans?

Where I am: perpetually sailing the stormy seas of creativity in my own little handmade boat.

Accomplishments: 7 books published, the latest a new collection with everything from flash to a series tie-in novella. Link bc I am supposed to do better about promoting:

What are your writing goals for 2025?

1. Start & finish a new novel or enough shorts to build another mosaic story.
2. Write something so mind-blowing original it gets a 6 figure publishing deal.
3. See my latest story collection on the NYT bestseller's list.

Hey, I never said they were all *realistic* goals.

More realistically I hope to write something that excites a reader so much I make their end of year faves list for 2025.

It's exactly as amazing as you might imagine. You can browse by family or species, and/or identify feathers you find lying about.

In related news, I came across a feather from a Northern Flicker on my lunchtime walk today.
