@ChrisMayLA6 Not sure that technology is the magic solution. We still need clean air and water, healthy food, somewhere to live, 'time out' and positive relationships. In addition, machines took away physical work. Computers mental work. And now AI is replacing our ability to think and create. So, what is our purpose as human beings?
Agreed, technology by itself is never going to be the solution to any complex issues; it's deployment may help but it is humans who's solve human problems through actions, possibly supported by tech....
@ChrisMayLA6 So, what happens when we reach the limits of "growth" given that there are 8 billion people living on a very finite planet with fixed amounts of resources.

Well the optimists are hoping for a technical fix - either on planet or off...
