In response to this post@ai6yr This one is a big oof too. I have friends with a cabin less than 1/8 mile from from Vogel Flats. It's one of the few cabins up there that survived the 2009 Station Fire - primarily because their clearance and prep work before evacuating was stellar.

@ai6yr @BakerRL75 Altadena above Washington Blvd is fairly suburban. but you get a lot more dense between washington & the 210 where the warnings are.
I erroneously anticipated the warnings to be for further west not further south.
