Artemesia's Bio
I've been around online since the earlier usenet days when you had to have some chops to know what usenet is (was), and how to get on it. Mastodon right now feels a bit like the good days of usenet, there's some of the same vibe.
Interests: bike maintenance, ebikes, orchids, cymbidiums, weird succulents, gardening in general, security engineering, current events, congressional shenanigans, courthouse shenanigans, US and european politics.

Just a four-banger likely red lion amaryllis. But lurking behind it is a black pearl about to open its blooms. I'm hoping to get a photo of the both of them in bloom for the contrast, but the red lion likes to bloom in april and the black pearls I got think june is just fine. #bloomscrolling

I'm particularly happy with this, because it's the first ever cymbidium that I've rebloomed, and I did it growing outside under less than ideal conditions (took 3 years). Yes, I cheated and brought it inside under a light once the bloom stalk was substantial, murphy's law and all that. But it's rebloomed, and it's even a species orchid (cymbidium traceyanum--yes, that's one of the easier ones) #bloomscrolling #cymbidium #orchids

I don't have a straight-up answer, especially since it's lead acid and most of my experience is with lithium ion or nickel metal hydride. I'll say that 6 amps is more amperage than I would go with for a simple lithium battery. Rough rule of thumb, assuming appropriate voltage and amperage for that battery, check the power consumption of your charger and figure around 80% of that ends up as battery charge. So, a 600 Watt-hour battery being charged by a 120 watt consuming charger would need about 6.25 hours of charging. But...some chargers will taper the charge when the battery gets near full, dropping the amperage to a trickle for the last hour. So that takes longer.
I suggest looking at batteryuniversity.com , which will have more than you want to know about it.
