I haven't been able to replicate the narrow professional/academic political science bubble I had on twitter, so now I follow more diverse sets of scientist and humanities scholars from various disciplines, as well as activists and commentators. Perhaps this is less professionally "useful" than my twitter bubble (if ever it has been), but it's certainly more interesting and fun. I still have to implement a proper doom filter, though, because I can only take so much anxiety and anger.
By implication, my own persona is now less professionally split off from my other interests, which probably means I will have to stop pretending that I'm mostly here for the CfAs, CfPs, and methods discussions (rather than the birdwatchers, poets, and shit-posters).
