As @davidallengreen has demonstrated over three posts (of which this is the last, concluding one - the others are linked in this one), the 'legal letter' from Liz Truss to Keir Starmer was (once again) a bit of Tory declaratory politics.... it had no purpose other than to command headlines, which it did.
(and... if you're not subscribing to DAG's blog, you're missing a legal treat of considerable proportions)
@ChrisMayLA6@davidallengreen Once again I think David is being too generous to the lawyers. They are bringing the profession into disrepute by threatening political speech on a non-existent basis and the SRA should be looking into this. They have expressly warned firms about SLAPPs.
