I really miss the days of the "inverted triangle" in journalism. Also the 5 Ws+H. Seems like it sometimes takes writers a very long time to reveal facts + underlying points. We don't have infinite time to slog thru personalized openings, justifications for writing a piece, or any other detail that prevents the reader from understanding exactly what the author means to get at, up front. I'm old. My time here is short. Tell it to me straight. Thanks.

I really have to make a proper #introduction post, and I’m putting it off because I don’t want to blow it. I have one of those hungry minds, curious about nearly everything (typical librarian profile), and I want to know what the #histodons, #scientists, #legalacademics, #writers, #educators, #journalists, #librarians, #informationliteracy, #nypolitics, #books, #psychologists and others are talking about at all times.
